Bristol Manor Farm Football Club can announce today that it has parted ways with defender Josh Ford by mutual consent.

Ford joined the club in the summer of the 2021/22 season and helped the Farm achieve its highest league finish by securing a place in the division’s play-off final. Last season, Ford also played a pivotal role in the team’s fight at the foot of the table, helping to defeat Saltash United 2-0 in the Inter-Step relegation play-off final to retain Manor Farm’s Southern League status.

Speaking to the club, Manager Lee Lashenko commented: “We would like to thank Josh for his efforts across the past 2 and a half seasons. He was a key part of the club’s success in reaching the final in Winchester, and he also scored some important goals over the years in key matches. Things haven’t materialised on the pitch as we had hoped for Josh this season, and we feel that now is the time for us to part ways and we wish him all the best in his next career move.
