MATCH PREVIEW: Bishops Cleeve (FA Trophy)

Bristol Manor Farm travel to Bishop’s Cleeve on Saturday in the FA Trophy, their second visit to Kayte Lane already this season, and Jack Davies previews all the action.

Farm’s FA Cup dreams ended last weekend but the Trophy still presents a credible option for a cup run. Manager Lee Lashenko’s men showed huge desire in the last round of this competition, fighting from 2-0 down before winning the penalty shooutout. The hero of that day was goalkeeper Seth Locke and he’ll be hoping for a similar showing this time around. Farm also travelled to Cleeve in the aforementioned FA Cup, winning 3-2 after a clinical first half display. This is Farm’s fourth consecutive cup fixture.

Bishop’s Cleeve have had a very good start to the season, despite the cup defeat when these two sides last met. A 6-1 thumping of Paulton to secure this tie, was followed by an away win and early league leaders Bermerton Heath Harliquins last time out. The side is packed with attacking quality including Ethan Dunbar, who scored against Farm twice in the FA Cup. Ross Langworthy has also been amongst the goals, scoring three times in his last two games.
