MATCHDAY GUIDES – Forest Green & Falmouth

Whether you’re a Farmy Army regular or an away fan coming to The NL Services Stadium, we’ve got you covered. This week we’re covering both matches that we’re hosting, starting with Forest Green Rovers in the Gloucestershire Senior Challenge Cup, quickly followed by a league encounter against newly-promoted Falmouth Town.

Preview:

Wednesday – Bristol Manor Farm v Forest Green Rovers Firsts, 7:45pm.
Saturday – Bristol Manor Farm v Falmouth Town, 3pm.

Manor Farm has a home double header as they face Forest Green in the GFA Senior Challenge Cup, before returning to league action on Saturday against Falmouth. Farm is in excellent form after recovering from a challenging start to the season, with five consecutive wins, including a dramatic penalty shootout victory as 10-man Farm advanced to the third round of the FA Trophy at the weekend.

Louis Britton continued his prolific scoring with yet another goal, while fellow new signing George Dowling has scored twice in two matches since his return from injury. Falmouth has made an impressive start to their first season at this level, with two wins in their first four matches. Their run of three unbeaten was ended by Mousehole in the Trophy, who will meet Farm in the next round.

Speaking to the club, Manager Lee Lashenko had this to say:

We are excited to host Forest Green Rovers at the NL Services Stadium tomorrow night for a GFA Cup match, and I hope this will be just the beginning of many games in this competition. As a club, we take this cup very seriously and recognise that the quality of our potential opponents is quite high, which will undoubtedly enhance interest among our supporters.

Then on Saturday, we’ll welcome Falmouth Town to The NL Services Stadium for our inaugural Southern League match against them. I believe that games like this truly embody what this level of football is about—competing against teams from outside our area to gauge how we stack up against them. We can’t wait for both games to get underay!

Travel:

Supporters on planning to use public transport have two main options. There are Trains that run to Avonmouth and Severn Beach every 20 minutes from Bristol Temple Meads and you will need to get off at Sea Mills station, followed by a short 5 minute walk to the ground. Supporters travelling by Bus can catch the Portway Park & Ride from the city centre every 10 minutes, and will need to get off outside the ground at the Riverleaze stop.

We offer a FREE Car Park for our supporters. However, we encourage everyone to arrive at the ground well in advance of the match start time, as the parking spaces tend to fill up quickly once players and staff begin arriving for the evening.
