INJURY UPDATES

Bristol Manor Farm Manager Lee Lashenko has provided an update on the club’s first-team, including injury news regarding Ben John and Daniel Dodimead.

The boss described the past seven days as some of the ‘harshest’ he has experienced in management, with Manor Farm narrowly losing by the single goal in all of their previous three encounters.

“Since our strong run of form over the festive period, we’ve not been able to continue turning our performances into points,” Lashenko said.

“We’ve come away from the past week with zero points when we very easily could have walked away with all nine. Ben John has also picked up a hand injury which will keep him out of action for at least a couple of months.

“The results, along with the late injury to Ben, had certainly made the week’s negative events hard to take. I’m sure the whole Farmy Army will join with me in wishing Ben John all of our best wishes,” Lashenko expressed.

In more positive news, Daniel Dodimead will return to first-team training this week and could be made available for selection on Saturday afternoon against Bashley.

“Saturday’s game should also see the welcome return of Danny Dodimead to our match day playing squad, said Lashenko.

“This is much earlier than was first predicted and largely down to Danny’s personal desire to return to action.

We hope the Farmy Army can join us in sending our best wishes to Ben, and giving a warm reception to Dodger on his Portway return. Our next fixture will take place on Saturday 20 January at 3pm.
