Bristol Manor Farm produced a perfect away performance and they score four without reply away to Westbury, writes Jack Davies.
A positive start was rewarded 12 minutes in as Farm took the lead. Jamie Adams superb pass found Ben Bament and when his shot was parried outwards, Dan Dodimead reacted first to stab the ball home. Westbury couldn’t get out as Farm piled on the pressure. Dodimead ran hard down the line his cutback found Jayden Nielsen, who forced a save. The pressure did tell, and Farm doubled the lead before the half hour. Mason Winter with a cross as good as you’re ever likely to see for fellow full-back Aron Robbins to head home from 6 yards.
The second half started as the first half finished and Farm had a third just a few minutes after the whistle. George Kellow with a sumptuous pass to Bament, who took the ball on his chest before absolutely rifling his half volley into the far corner, for the goal of the game. Farm continued to pile forward and were creating chances at will. Nielsen sent a free kick just over before Kellow was inches away from connecting with a cross to the back post. Farm would make it four on the hour as Jayden Nielsen notched yet another assist this season. His hard running won a corner and the delivery was perfect for Ollie Woodhouse as he rose highest to head home the fourth. The only blot on a near perfect afternoon came in the 80th minute. Winter adjudged to be last man despite at least two covering defenders alongside him and Farm were down to 10. The resulting free kick gave Seth Locke the last word. The Farm keeper didn’t have a single save to make before his outstanding fingertip save pushed the direct effort wide and preserved his clean sheet.
