MATCHDAY GUIDE: Mousehole (FA TROPHY)

Saturday’s FA Trophy clash is a crucial one, as both teams fight for a place in the First Round Proper. If you’re heading to Mousehole to support, this guide has everything you need!

Preview:

Mousehole v Bristol Manor Farm, Saturday 5 October, 3pm.

Manor Farm arguably face their toughest test of the season so far as they travel down to Mousehole in the FA Trophy. Farm bring bags of confidence into this one, having won seven matches in a row across all competitions, including four in the league. In this tournament, Farm beat a determined Willand at home before achieving an outstanding result away at Evesham, eventually winning on penalties despite playing much of the game a man down. The decisive penalty was scored by Mason Winter, who has continued his fine form with two stunning assists in as many games. Also in form is former Mousehole player Josh Bissett, who scored his fifth goal for the club at the weekend.

Mousehole have also started the season brightly, with just two defeats in all competitions so far. They too are on a strong winning run, with four consecutive victories, including both of their FA Trophy wins against Bashley and Falmouth.

Manager Lee Lashenko had this to say ahead of the fixture:

“There are a few Cornish-based teams in the division that are expected to complete near the top of the table and in these competitions. We need to ensure we go there as best prepared as possible. Let’s get that coach filled up and give our full support.”
